You should defintely consult an attorney as soon as possible. Their case does not sound good, but you may not have seen all of their evidence yet.

You should check with a civil litigation attorney regarding this. There does not seem to be a criminal act here.

You need to speak with an attorney on this case. If it was your car then the contents might be presumed to be yours, however an attorney can argue...
