Adam Joseph Tynan

Adam J. Tynan is an experienced civil litigation attorney who represents individuals and families in personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. He is committed to helping clients obtain justice and fair compensation after suffering catastrophic injuries caused by the negligence of others.

Before joining Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf, Mr. Tynan served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, where he was assigned to the Special Litigation Unit. In that role, he defended complex, high-exposure cases involving catastrophic injuries on behalf of various New York City agencies throughout all five boroughs. His extensive litigation experience includes conducting depositions, drafting and arguing motions, appearing at conferences, negotiating settlements, and trying cases in both state and federal courts. This background provides him with valuable insight into defense strategies, which he now leverages to advocate effectively for injured plaintiffs.

Mr. Tynan earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where he distinguished himself as an Executive Board member of the Moot Court Association and a member of the Trial Competition Team. In recognition of his advocacy skills and leadership, he received the prestigious Order of the Barristers and the Dean's Award for Student Leadership. He also advanced to the semifinals of the Texas Young Lawyers National Trial Competition.

He received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College, where he served as President of the Pre-Law Society. Following graduation, Mr. Tynan lived in Florence, Italy, for two years while working as a tour manager, an experience that broadened his cultural perspective and strengthened his communication skills.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Tynan is an active supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the St. Jude Heroes program. He regularly participates in fundraising events, including marathons and Spartan races, to help advance the hospital's mission of providing treatment and hope to children battling serious illnesses.
