Sahil Khera

Sahil Khera is currently an Associate Director in Fitch Ratings’ U.S. Public Finance, Education & Nonprofits group. Having previously interned with Fitch’s Local Tax-Supported group, Sahil joined Fitch full-time in November 2014 and provides credit analysis for new bond offerings and surveillance of existing ratings to borrowers in the education and nonprofit sectors.

Prior to joining Fitch, Sahil served as a budget analyst within the Education Task Force of the City of New York’s Office of Management and Budget and consulted with Accenture, primarily focusing on the financial services sector. In addition, Sahil has provided legal services for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Asian American Justice Center, and has drafted contracts, bylaws, and articles of incorporation for nonprofit organizations within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill community.

Sahil earned his B.S. in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Further, Sahil is an attorney and counselor-at-law admitted to the New York State Bar. Sahil is a member of the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
