My son has an outstanding private student loan not paid on for some time. I his mother is a cosigner. do we have any choices?

You can't discharge those loans in a bankruptcy, but otherwise, a private student loan creditor has just about the same rights as any other...

I filed bankruptcy in 2004 the bankruptcy has been discharged. My primary residencey was not included.
