Rachel Deborah Jaffe

Mrs Rachel Jaffe esq of Housing Conservation Coordinators made several verbal agreements with me regarding a guardianship case for my aunt Teresa Garcia Dosil. She knew full well all the circumstances pertaining this case and promised to take it on at no cost to me, It would be paid by the non-profit.... I flew from florida to NY in mid-march 2012 to meet with Mrs. Jaffe and she convinced me that I could get guardianship as soon as I moved to NY. When I arrived I gave her a copy of my rent receipt to establish residency that was April 3rd then I waited and waited. Meanwhile I was asked by the landlord to stay with my aunt in her building because there was no "home health aide" this was a ploy on his part to start a dispute with me regarding my residency in NYC. After waiting for a month after moving all the way from FLA to NY I call Mrs. Jaffe on May 8th to find out that she will not be taking the case. because of a dispute with the landlord. I reminded her that I had already asked her and the landlord the legal restriction for visitors in my aunts sec 8 housing and the law allowed for visitors for 14 days. She cited some half-assed court case where a bank teller disputed a guardianship in NY. Mrs. Jaffe decided to take the word of Howard Zavin a man defrauding elderly people over the the word of my own father and the brother of Teresa Garcia Dosil.
