Let me start off by, saying Thank you. I'm immensely, grateful for you! The level of compassionate and genuine love for helping is needed in these court rooms and you have exceptionally demonstrated that over the past year and a half. Prior to you being my lawyer. I felt defeated. I felt unheard, I... felt like I had lost my child before the fight even begun. When you were appointed as my lawyer,I became hopeful. You are a person that actually took interest in my situation and what I have to say.You didn’t try to shut me up, speak over me, or speak ill of my mental diagnosis, or tell me there is no hope, or spoke to me as if my mental diagnosis was raising my child. No, you spoke to me as how you saw me a loving mother that happens to have a mental disagnosis. I felt seen, felt heard and not judged and most definitely not stigmatized. I felt like I had a voice to stand and I felt encourage to walk in my truth instead of being made to feel shameful. As if I’m unfit because of my hospitalizations. You exercise what is called a person- first-language. Which again is needed in these court rooms because they are so quick to judge without even considering the person or the child needs. I was willing to fight for my child and had no intentions of stopping so I’m so happy that God placed you at the appointed time in this 3 year long case. A fight that I’ve been doing for 10.5 years you won in 1.5 years! Not only that but I was trying to get my son back on an every other week approximately for 2 years and you were able to get that situated in 2 months! The weight and stress you took off of me and my child only God knows how grateful we are for you. Not only are you a very diverse lawyer but you know your stuff! Watching you in court demolish the opposing side with such grace, wisdom, professionalism, facts and firmness is definitely one for the books. I love the fact that you are not a push over despite, you being so calm and cool and easy going. You make it very easy for me to come to you and get in touch with you at any given point. You’re patient, consistent and well organized and you get straight to the point in court. As if to say you are not about to waste my client and my time. When it comes to Lindsay, you don't just get a lawyer you get someone that will also fight for you like a friend that wants to defend you because you've been wrong. She looks not only out for your best interest but also the child/children involved. She's fair, transparent and honest and poise but don't think for a second that she’s not a beast.
