James E. Rosini has over 30 years’ experience, at Kenyon & Kenyon, in litigation and counseling matters concerning all aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and unfair competition as well as related entertainment, publishing, music, computer, Internet, domain name and right of publicity issues. Mr. Rosini is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and is the head of Kenyon & Kenyon’s Trademark, Copyright and Design Practice Group.

Mr. Rosini is a member of many bar associations’ sections and committees on intellectual property and entertainment law, including the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, the New York County Lawyer’s Association, the U.S. Copyright Society, and the International Trademark Association.
Mr. Rosini is quoted and featured in some of the world's leading publications, such as Fortune Magazine, the Wall Street Journal and Brandweek, on topics related to trademark, copyrights and intellectual property law. He is a regular contributor of articles to the World Copyright Law Report, and he has authored and co-authored many articles in the intellectual property field covering such topics as halting trade mark and copyright piracy, European trademark law, copyright protection for computer software, trends in US trade mark law and international intellectual property treaties for publications such as The New York Law Journal and the Licensing Journal.
Mr. Rosini has presented speeches in the domestic and international arena on trademark, copyright, the internet, and branding issues. He has been both moderator and speaker for The New York New Media Association's Intellectual Property Seminar Series for Information Technology Companies, and as an adjunct professor at New York Law School has taught courses and seminars on different aspects of intellectual property law.
Mr. Rosini is actively involved in, and performs pro bono work on behalf of, charitable organizations such as Renovation House and the All Stars Project, and is listed in Who's Who in American Law, the International Who's Who of Professionals, the Guide to the World’s Leading Trade Mark Law Practitioners, the Honors Edition of Madison's Who's Who and the 2010 Edition of Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals Throughout the World. Mr. Rosini has been named one of New York's Super Lawyers and has been selected as one of the top attorneys in the nation by the Legal News portal. He has been singled out as one of the top trademark counselors in the U.S. by the US Legal 500 and has also received the highest professional rating of AV from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Rosini was recently nominated by Managing Intellectual Property magazine as one of the five top Intellectual Property attorneys in the country, and the practice group he heads was named the number one practice group of its kind in the nation.
