During your appointment ask for a stamp that will extend your green card. Be patient. The processing times for I-751 cases is lengthy.

I have been to the US about 8 times in the past 2 ys.However, if I log into www.cbp.gov/i94, it says that I have not since 2013.

CIS only requires the most recent tax year. Three years is an old requirement and optional. The form and the instructions tell you that.
