You absolutely need an attorney to deal with ACS in a matter like this. They will retaliate by threatening you if you just modify your statement...

You should be able to throw them out without too much problems. Chances are that they are not worth much, if anything.

As there is only an order of visitation, neither of you have been granted custody one way or the other. Thus, the two of you have joint legal custody.

You need to speak to a NJ attorney to find out the status of the case. Simply ignoring it could result in default.
