While a court officer can, they probably will not agree to do this. Hire a process server.

The lender has no reason to let him off the hook on the loan without a refi. That's pretty much the way every bank sees these types of situation.

If your wife does not object you can stay in the apartment, however, you should get the agreement in writing.

Legal assistant is not an actual title. Its just a term people use. It depends on what the lawyer you want to work for wants you to know.
