The best person to ask your attorney. Is possible but you'll be able to travel out-of-state but you should let your attorney know before you do it.

Yes, you can still pursue the charges. You should turn over all the evidence you have to the police/detective who took the report. Best of luck.

What you think it irrelevant may not actually be so. If testimony is being elicited in front of a jury, it is likely quite relevant.

It really depends on who is conducting the background check. Even if the case is dismissed and sealed the arrest may show up along with the dismissal.
