An ACD is not a conviction. It may or may not show up depending on who is conducting the background check.

You may want to raise the issue of your eligibility for a public defender again in front of the judge, BUT do not discuss anything about your case...

The case will be dismissed and sealed in 6 months, or 1 year, if it involves domestic violence. It is a good outcome following an arrest and charges.
