Andrew George Horne

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Andrew earned his first law degree from the University of Strathclyde before completing additional training at the Glasgow Graduate School of Law.  In 2000, he was fortunate enough to be awarded a John F. Kennedy Memorial Scholarship (the United Kingdom's equivalent of a Rhodes Scholarship) to study at Harvard Law School.  After graduating from Harvard, Andrew joined the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he became one of the youngest litigation attorneys to be elected partner.  In 2016, Andrew accepted an offer to join a cutting-edge biotechnology company to serve as its General Counsel.  But he has always been a litigator at heart and, in 2018, formed Andrew G. Horne P.C., a law firm devoted to civil and criminal litigation.  The goal of this firm is to provide the high quality litigation services offered by much larger firm but at a lower cost and with a more personal service model.  Andrew is available to his clients 24/7, 365 days of the year to provide advice on all manner of civil and criminal litigation issues.  

In addition to be licensed to practice in the State of New York, Andrew is licensed to appear, and has appeared, before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, and Ninth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  He is also a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and a qualified solicitor in Scotland.
