Однако адвокат, который принимает дело, подписывает договор и получает полную оплату своих услуг, обязан добросовестно выполнять взятые на себя профессиональные обязательства. Under the terms of our contract, he was required to represent me at all court hearings related to my case. However, he failed to appear at two scheduled court hearings without prior notice and without providing any explanation for his absence. Attending these hearings was one of his fundamental obligations under our agreement. The situation reached its peak on December 31, 2025, during the final hearing in my case. Instead of representing me as agreed, Alexander informed the judge that he was withdrawing from my case and would no longer represent my interests, citing personal circumstances as the reason. As a result, I was left without legal representation at the most critical stage of my case. I personally observed that the judge was clearly upset by this situation, which highlighted the seriousness of what had occurred. I understand that personal issues can arise in anyone’s life. However, when an attorney accepts a case, signs a contract, and receives full payment, clients have a reasonable expectation that the attorney will fulfill those professional obligations. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney.

After initially communicating with me, the attorney became largely unresponsive and failed to provide timely updates regarding my case despite repeated attempts to reach them. Anyway, long story short: at one point, I received a letter instructing me to come in and pick up some documents from the immigration service. I arrived, collected the documents, stepped back out into the area near the elevators—where there are a couple of chairs—and sat down to take a quick look at them. I hadn't been told what the documents were about, and—as anyone dealing with immigration matters will understand—people in such situations are naturally very eager to know exactly what the United States government has sent them in the mail. I had barely managed to open the documents and read their contents—and was just about to pack them back into the envelope—when he opened the door, looked at me, and demanded to know what I was doing there and why I hadn't left yet. Surprised by his attitude, I explained to him exactly what I’ve written here; wearing a look of displeasure, he closed the door and walked away. He left me with the impression of being a very unpleasant person. He may well be a competent attorney, but as a human being, he strikes me as—at the very least—not a particularly good one.
