I worked with Attorney Jerome Lee on three credit card debt cases over the last few years, and he did a really good job. In this most recent case, I was being sued for about $17,000. Jerry was able to get t...he settlement down to just $7,000, which is way lower than what they were asking for. Through the whole thing, I never had to go to court. Jerry went to every court date for me and always worked to protect my best interests. He even did something kind of fun. When he had a court date for my case, he would send me a short video from outside the courthouse, texting me, “I’m going in as your attorney to protect your interests.” It was quirky, but it helped me feel like he was on top of everything and keeping me updated. Jerome takes your money, provides platitudes and then returns for more money and platitudes. When it comes to actually drawing up documentation, he defers to a settlement where he does not have to do work. This attorney deserve a negative 5 rating. I was being sued for a defaulted student loan taken out in 2007 and got served a summons. I spoke with Jerry about how much I owed and who was suing me. He told me that he would handle everything and to just save my money for a couple months, 7 for me, in hopes of a settlement. I paid him a very ...modest fee and he did exactly what he told me. Eventually he told me the plaintiff was ready to settle and how much could I afford to pay. He got them to knock $26,000 off; I ended up paying back a little more than half what I originally borrowed, which is a pretty amazing deal. Jerry was very honest and easy to deal with. If you do what he says and save enough money to make an legitimate settlement, he will take care of you.

I just used these guys to vacate an old default judgment of mine that I left in New York City when I live there about five years ago…I had my bank account restrained and this firm got my money back and got the judgment lifted …my credit score went up and the whole case was dismissed…the judgment was ...about $10,000 and they found out that the process server lied and never served me with the papers to begin with…based on that the judge threw the case out and I escaped a $10,000 judgment…the fee was about $600 in total and I consider myself having saved about $9400 as a result..highly recommended ..ask for jeff beck or jerry…took about thirty days
