Thorough detail oriented lawyer

Ethan investigated the case and the law regarding my case thoroughly and found additional filings to add to my case to improve my chances of winning. Unlike many lawyers who want to go straight to arbitration to resolve case with the least amount of their time Ethan built a strong case before we went... to arbitration. This allowed us to have a stronger position and have a successful arbitration.

Top notch employment lawyer

I hired Ethan to represent me to recover a significant bonus owed but not paid by a former employer. Ethan came highly recommended from another lawyer at a top firm. Throughout the year plus I worked with Ethan, I always found him to be intelligent, diligent, highly professional, and thoughtful. The ...case ultimately preceded to an arbitration hearing and I thought Ethan was a masterful litigator at trial. He honed in on the critical issues and argued his points in a clear, effective and cogent manner. We won the legal arguments in the case, which was a testament to the quality of Ethan's work product. I would strongly recommend Ethan Brecher to anyone seeking legal representation in employment matters.

Morgan Stanley Loses Bonus Claim Against Ex-Broker

Ethan Brecher is an excellent attorney that I would recommend without hesitation. After interviewing over 7 attorneys to take on my promissory note/employment case vs Morgan Stanley in 2012/2013 I chose Mr. Brecher because of his complete knowledge of Employment issues as well as the sophisticated br...okerage practice that I built up over 20 years that was being destroyed by my employer. Ethan was able to coach me through the arbitration process because he had navigated that environment many times before. He guided me to focus only on the important issues so as to have the greatest impact on the arbitrators that were hearing my case. Most impressive to me was Mr. Brecher's skill in giving a one hour closing argument on my behalf without reading from a single page of notes. Not only did it show me his complete understanding of my case, but his skilled closing arguments sealed the victory for me against an opponent (Morgan Stanley) that normally wins these promissory note cases 99% of the time. The arbitrators in reviewing their profiles before the case had never ruled against Morgan Stanley. This shows Mr. Brechers's unbelievable strength in this area of bringing home the victory to myself. Finally, if you have a legal issue in this area I would consult with Ethan Brecher. You will not find anyone with a better total practice of preparing a strategy and executing it from A to Z It would be my pleasure to answer any specific questions about my case or Ethan if you have any hesitations in choosing him to represent you.

Excellent choice for employment law

Ethan worked hard to understand my case, which was complex, and helped focus the context around the relevant law and arbitration points. He helped focus the strategy around the myriad details that ended in a successful result.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
