Dana Leigh Capone

Dana Capone, Special Counsel, advises clients in the beauty, luxury, fashion, entertainment, and consumer products industries on a range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, media, employment, litigation, and housing court matters. Her practice is informed by a distinctive combination of legal, communications, and executive leadership experience, allowing her to counsel clients with a practical understanding of the business, reputational, and regulatory considerations that shape modern consumer brands.

Most recently, Ms. Capone served as General Counsel of a global luxury skincare brand, where she advised the company through a significant phase of growth and commercialization. In addition to her legal leadership role, she also served as COO and Brand President, overseeing legal, regulatory, governance, intellectual property, and risk management matters while supporting broader business operations across finance, production, marketing, retail partnerships, and global logistics.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Capone founded The Capone Group, a boutique communications and events firm representing leading beauty and luxury brands. She previously served as Senior External Relations Officer for BVLGARI, where she oversaw communications initiatives across Jewelry, Watches, Accessories, Beauty, and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. While pursuing her law degree, she maintained a senior communications role at BVLGARI and later served as Legal Liaison between BVLGARI and its parent company, LVMH, supporting matters including commercial real estate transactions, corporate advisory work, licensing, and brand partnerships.

Ms. Capone received her JD, cum laude, from New York Law School and her BA in Journalism from University of Arizona. She is admitted to practice law in New York and serves as Co-Chair of the Animal Law Committee of the New York Women's Bar Association.
