Money down the drain!

I hired Robert G Wilson for a family matter. Instead of fighting for you, he sells you by saying all sorts of self-incriminating things in your name. In fact, this guy does not even have the guts to stand up against the other party even in paper, much less challenging the obviously corrupt judge. Mor...eover, I had to prod this guy three times for a simple copy of the charge slip. Likewise, he could drag out a motion one week after another for over a month, without feeling uneasy in the least bit. However, he had the cheek to charge 12 hours for coming up with the simple motion, copying straightly from court papers, without providing a necessary legal brief, which is exactly why people hire a lawyer. Surprisingly, to cover up his incompetence, this guy had the nerve to say that it is the custom to not provide a legal brief in the family court. As a result, I fired him before more damage is done. I wish I had never hired this guy in the first place.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
