you definitely have a case. However, you need to obtain an attorney quick. You only have two years from the date of the incident to file a lawsuit.

you need to file your case in the special civil part. You have to file in the county in which the defendant resides.

it is 10 years from the date that you finished your probation. However, you may be able to do it after 5 years if you satisfy certain requirements.
