I just read the other two reviews on this Lawyer and I have to say that they are definitely mis-informing the people who use this site... I have used Mr. Patel SEVERAL times and always felt VERY satisfied as his customer. His staff kept me informed on everything that was going on. I received e-mai...ls everyday letting me know what was happening. The only time I had to wait for anything was when we were waiting for a response from other law offices. I was in a deal with a house and Mr. Patel really protected my interests when the sellers wouldn’t address a major issue and he was able to get me out of the contract, no penalties. Also, when all that was done he helped me to close on my dream house. Not only did he help me close on this house, but his excellent staff members recommended the perfect real-estate agent for me. I have also hired Mr. Patel for other legal matters, such as traffic violations, reviews of legal contracts, and he was always very helpful and informative. Being a first-time home buyer Mr Patel and his staff took their time to explain everything to me and my husband, and made us feel comfortable with this big purchase. Other legal issues that I have encountered and needed legal advice on, Mr. Patel again took his time and made sure I understood everything and knew what to do to protect myself. I'm sad to see that someone wrote that the staff is a joke. The office is small, there are only two women working there and I was surprised at the efficiency of the office. I was never worried and always felt very safe with the staff working on my files and making sure everything was done correctly. I have recommended this law office to family and friends. They also were very satisfied with the service as well. I will be sure to ask them to write a proper and honest review on this site.

My wife and I were looking to purchase a small family owned restaurant in central Jersey. Mr. Patel had helped us review the purchasing contract and the leasing contract with the landlord. He also helped us files for an LLC. Mr. Patel clearly explained several hidden motives in the contracts and made... us be aware of the risks that we were taking in going into the business. We were able to use Mr. Patel's professional recommendations and use them in our negotiation with the seller. I highly recommend Mr. Patel.

I will start off by saying that he is a fabulous attorney and highly recommend him for any house closing. There was a situation where I missed something in the letter from seller's attorney where "Use of Occupancy" clause was written but not exactly where it should have been or I expected so, I mis...sed it. Milan asked me couple of times that "do I agree with all the terms?" I said "Yes" every time during attorney review process. Finally, before sending it out to seller's attorney, he again asked me specifically about "Use of Occupancy" and that's when I saw the clause and then he suggested appropriate response as well otherwise, we would have been in trouble, if we would have gone by the condition put in by Seller's attorney. thank you Milan. In few other situations as well, he added few clauses himself to safe guard me, in case, sellers try to play rough by exploiting the "Use of Occupancy" or "Inspection" related repairs not that they would have or are/were planning to but its always good to have someone on your side in this complicated process of home buying. He was very thorough in explaining each and every paper (you know how big the bundle of papers there are) while closing the house which initially, i thought it's overkill but even that proved to be helpful as he found few issues while closing as well where Title company (not from him but lender) had missed few specifics from the documents so, he got them as well corrected which extended the closing time but he was patiently waiting with us and kept on explaining us. We were impressed by how detail oriented he is given that he knew few minor numbers 15 pages back also when we asked a question about some $253 approx. and he was quick to take us to a page where it was mentioned by lender. So, here's all good and here's something not so much in his favor hence, 4 stars. Sometimes, when you did not follow the process or did not go through a document after him telling you as well then he can be rough (again, not shouting) but you can feel the irritation in his voice easily :) , happened with me twice but again, it was for my own good nothing was going to benefit him because of that but he did not like that. I found that, it's better to follow up with the attorney's assistant if you have put in some conditions which are out of the regular process like we had one or 2 (do not want to put it on forum) but overall, great experience. You might find his fee little higher than others but then he does not add any additional charges at the time of closing like, photocopy, emailing etc. whereas most of other attorneys do.
