Theodore Sliwinski

Mr. Sliwinski provided excellent legal representation during and after my divorce for me. He doesn't get bogged down in the small petty things that can drive up divorce costs but instead he keys in on the big picture items that are important to overall victory. He is mindful and considerate of the ...children involved in the divorce in a way that I did not experience with the two matrimonial lawyers that I had before him. He is very knowledgable of the law and he is also a really pleasant person to have at your side when you may be going through some tough times. Mr. Sliwinski helped me legally to pass through some really difficult litigation post divorce. This allowed me to land solidly on my feet and move on with a new marriage and family.

From the first phone conversation in setting up an appointment through all that I am going through, Mr. Sliwinski has been extremely receptive. He has explained what he felt I would be entitled to, how he felt the Judge would handle the case, and what I should expect for the outcome. To date he has... been correct with all of his guidance. Mr. Sliwinski believes that in the beginning you try and be as nice as possible with the other side, but when he sees that the other side was not wanting to act in the same manner, he has shown that he can play hard ball as well not to let them walk all over me. He has been able to win for me what we feel was fair, and is continuing to fight for the rest of what was not addressed to date. He has shown compassion, and been there for all of my concerns. Mr. Sliwinski does all of his work himself without a secretary which I also like, as this way I know that he personally is caring for my case and I am not just another account being put with an employee. Mr. Sliwinski returns our calls promptly, and if he is in court or in a meeting he sends an email letting me know that as soon as he is available generally giving a time frame that he will be in touch. He is extremely reasonable with his fees, and is not an attorney as I have had in the past that is in it more for the money rather than the best interest of his client. All I can say is if you need a GREAT attorney, then contact Mr. Sliwinski and you won't be disappointed.

Never read my paperwork stated He was tired or swimming, my paperwork was out of time he had no knowledge when we went in front of Judge, on more than one occasion had to ask the courts the next step. Maybe he was new to Family Court/Criminal stated in email after I questioned him about not defending... me he said "Had to give them something" , never told me about grand jury, accused me of making negative comments about him on internet, I emailed him in court form my answers, he never read or used. During oral arguements he never opened his mouth all he stated was about how the other party loved the child, ??? He was not the other persons lawyer he was mine. Don't need this lawyer for PTI, not kid napping no amber alert other party knew where we where called police and still got warrant and had to do PTI due to this lawyer not doing his paperwork on time, instead being buddies with the other party, T Sliwinski had from Sep to do paperwork and send in.... instead got after three Judges in Dec got indited ..
