Why Franchise Law? I get entrepreneurs and I enjoy working with you. Your enthusiasm is infectious and you appreciate straight talk and honest, hard work from your attorney. I formed and assisted a local company to succeed as a national franchisor with units now in 16 states (ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine as a top 500 franchisor again in January 2019 - now holding a place in the upper half – and having gained several hundred slots since its first 2017 ranking). I have assisted many Franchisees from review and explanation about their FDD terms, negotiating revisions to franchise terms, helping to ramp-up their franchise businesses (forming legal entities, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, negotiating land use issues for brick and mortar units), as well as negotiating or litigating disputes between Franchisors and Franchisees.
