About Melissa
Biography
Melissa A. Chimbangu is a member of Szaferman Lakind’s Commercial and General Litigation Group. Her areas of practice include commercial litigation, consumer fraud litigation, labor and employment law, class action lawsuits, and environmental law. Melissa also represents individuals injured as a result of exposure to asbestos-containing products.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa served as a law clerk to the Honorable Travis L. Francis, Assignment Judge, Middlesex Vicinage, Superior Court of New Jersey. During her clerkship, Melissa worked on a range of chancery and civil matters and served as a mediator in the Special Civil Part of the Middlesex Law Division.
Melissa is a member of the New Jersey Bar and an active member in both the Mercer County Bar Association and the Mercer County Inn of Court.
