Bias Unqualified Bouer

As a dedicated father and a former fire chief with 30 years of service in Mercer County, NJ, my beautiful children and I suffered for over three years under Judge Bouer's biased oversight in Family Court. Inexperienced in family law with zero family law experience—lacking a grasp of child welfare and... evidence—she was wrongly appointed, presiding over shattered lives with systemic favoritism toward unsubstantiated claims over facts. Now reassigned to civil as of September 15, 2025—just as my case moves there to unseal key police recordings—her tenure reeks of overdue correction. Bouer's core flaw: utter contempt for evidence. She dismissed some of the over 40+ recordings of my children detailing sexual abuse by my ex's hidden paramour (with aliases), including one where my daughter urged "shut the cameras off" amid claims of constant surveillance, and another capturing my ex tampering with my son's injury account. Corroborated by 10+ witnesses, school/DCP&P reports, and my passed polygraphs (90th percentile by Ret-NJSP polygraph head Jerry Lewis), this proof was ignored for her reliance on debunked 2022 Robbinsville Police/DCP&P probes—later exposed via Internal Affairs for lies and omissions—leading to orders barring me from my kids since August 4, 2022. Her anti-male bias is blatant: she slandered me as "fabricating and coaching" without a shred of evidence, shielding my ex and paramour despite their proven perjury, order violations, and fraud. She spurned four glowing psych evals (e.g., Dr. Cooke's DCP&P report praising my parenting; Dr. Franklin's zero-risk assessment) but fixated on a twisted "ideation" quote from Dr. Illardi, yanked out of context to the Appellate Division. In her designed in chambers meeting so there was no recording where she stated to my attorney she wants a 5th evaluation because I said in quote “I will use all legal means nessesary to protect my children”(baseless retaliation and Dr. shopping)., she confessed the fifth eval ($5K upfront by Dr. Gentile) was payback for my resolve to fight—pure retaliation, atop $15K+ already spent, and over $300k trying to expose the truth and facts of this case draining a compliant dad's resources. Unprofessional to the core: sarcastic jabs at my pain, abrupt halts when facts clashed with her narrative, selective quoting in transcripts. She fostered intimidation, not justice, enabling cover-ups—like ignoring post-2022 abuse reports and police obstructions—while kids suffered in harm's way. Bouer embodies unqualified ruin: inexperience fueling bias, obstructing truth to protect the guilty. Her reassignment admits failure; now demand case reviews, evidence release, and reforms. Mercer families can't endure more.

THE BEST lawyer for families w/special needs

Jodi came to our rescue when we felt completely defeated. Her knowledge of special needs clients and her expertise in working with our health insurance helped our family when we needed it most. We were drowning in paperwork from our insurance company & getting nowhere after multiple appeals and hou...rs upon hours of phone calls. I would not hesitate to recommend Jodi Bouer to any family who is having difficulty getting therapy for their child. There's nothing worse then sitting back and feeling helpless when you know your child needs therapy, you're paying into insurance and getting nothing in return. Jodi was worth every penny we spent knowing we could trust her and her amazing staff to work tirelessly on our behalf. She truly is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!

Insurance Denials Overturned

Our insurance denied coverage for speech therapy, for our child with special needs and language delay. We paid out of pocket for over a year, expecting to be reimbursed but our insurance denied coverage, even after 3 appeals. Against all odds, Jodi was able to help us overturn the appeal and obtaine...d full reimbursement. We are extremely grateful and appreciative for her skill in helping us and highly recommend her to anyone dealing with recalcitrant insurance bureaucracies.

Success with difficult insurance companies

Jodi, took on a difficult assignment - obtaining a settlement related to a 5-year old brick chimney that had been seriously damaged. What made this difficult was that determining the cause - builder error, or wind/weather conditions, even with an engineer involved - was problematic. With solid judgem...ent, very good advice to us, and great tenacity with the insurance companies (ours and the builder's), Jodi was able to achieve a very satisfactory outcome. Throughout she demonstrated insight into the workings of insurance companies, the applicable law and insurance contract parsing. I highly recommend Jodi for any help related to any insurance company matters.

The best lawyer for Medical Insurance Benefits and kid's with disabilities!

I have been at the mercy of the medical insurance companies for years. My son was born with multiple disabilities and we could never get anywhere. I went to a lecture that Jodi Bouer gave and I was almost in tears when she sat and talked to me all night. I hired her on the spot and haven't regrett...ed that choice at all. She is so knowledgeable about the medical rights of individuals who are at the mercy of the insurance companies. I felt totally comfortable with her and felt she was actually interested in our family as people. We don't know how it will turn out, but she is moving very quickly with a plan at every step. I am finally feeling positive about getting the benefits my son needs and is entitled to. I highly recommend speaking with Jodi if you are having difficulties getting benefits for a child with disabilities.

"I endorse this lawyer's work. Ms Bouer has over 10 years experience as a litigator, primarily in the area of insurance coverage. Her knowledge of New Jersey case law is so well regarded, she has taught Insurance Law at Seton Hall Law School. Her prior experience as an insurance broker provides a unique perspective on how insurers assess their coverage obligations and process claims. She is extremely detail oriented without losing sight of the 'big picture'. This enables her to use the nuances in an insurance contract to resolve a matter for the benefit of her client. I would not hesitate to endorse Ms. Bouer."
