Edward P. Capozzi’s mission extends far beyond obtaining maximum compensation for his catastrophic personal injury clients—he transforms the courtroom into a stage where justice comes alive through artistic presentations and his innovative “Domino Theory.” After transitioning from a successful career as a musician to the practice of law, Capozzi brought his performance artistry and storytelling skills into New Jersey courtrooms. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney—a distinction reserved for less than 2% of attorneys—he exclusively handles automobile, trucking, NJ Transit, products liability, elevator and other catastrophic personal injury cases. His fierce cross-examinations of medical witnesses and compelling visual demonstrations have revolutionized how complex legal concepts like proximate cause are presented to juries. As the author of the bestselling Domino Theory and Domino Theory Second Edition (Trial Guides), and featured in Trials and Triumphs: Lessons from Legal Giants. He is a Past-President of the New Jersey Association for Justice, and he lectures nationally on trial techniques while representing seriously injured clients from New Jersey and the United States.
Capozzi remains deeply connected to his community and family. When not in the courtroom or traveling to teach fellow attorneys, he enjoys time with his wife, Mariana, a school teacher, and their four children—Alex, James, Olivia, and Thomas—while cheering on his beloved Yankees, Jets, Rangers, and Knicks. A devoted collector of sports, music, and historical memorabilia, he continues to blend his passions for performance and advocacy both inside and outside the courtroom.

Amazing Lawyer!
Mr Capozzi tried my case for 7 days and after 7 days of trial the case settled for more than we originally asked. Very well prepared.
"I have had numerous cases with Ed as an adversary over the years. He is a fierce advocate for his clients, who is always well prepared for trial. As an active civil defense trial attorney I am in daily contact with attorneys representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Ed is a stand out litigator, who will not hesitate to take a case to trial in order to obtain the maximum recovery for his client. I wholeheartedly endorse Ed Capozzi in all aspects of personal injury litigation."
