Jeffrey V Puff

Jeffrey V. Puff was born and raised in Woodbury, New Jersey.  He graduated from Bucknell University in 1975, and from the Nation's oldest law school, Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, in 1978.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Puff returned to his hometown and opened a solo practice, which is now the law firm of Puff & Cockerill L.L.C.  Puff & Cockerill is a full service law firm, representing local businesses and clientele as diverse as Mr. Puff's former second grade teacher to a Super Bowl quarterback.  The firm has grown from a single attorney and one secretary to 26 full and part-time employees, including 8 attorneys.

Mr. Puff has served as Prosecutor for the City of Woodbury and the Zoning Board Solicitor for the Township of Logan.  He currently serves as the Solicitor for the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the Gloucester Country Bar Association Real Estate Committee and Gloucester County Bar Association Probate Committee.

Since Mr. Puff first opened his doors, he has never stopped moving and never slowed down in 37 years.  

Outside of the practice, Mr. Puff is active in both community affairs and his church, where he serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee.  He also maintains strong ties to his alma mater, Bucknell University.
