My experience with this firm raised serious concerns regarding communication, billing practices, and client advocacy. Throughout the course of my case, communication was inconsistent and frequently absent during important stages. When the matter progressed into a new phase involving the retrieval ...of a relatively small, clearly defined amount of funds, the billing practices did not reflect the limited financial scope of the case. Despite the modest value at stake, I was treated as an open checkbook rather than a client who had communicated clear financial boundaries. I raised concerns about my financial limitations multiple times throughout the engagement. Those concerns were acknowledged in theory but disregarded in practice. The billing behavior suggested a focus on generating fees rather than providing proportional and cost-conscious legal services. I also consulted with several independent attorneys during the process, all of whom questioned whether my counsel was acting in my best interest. Their assessments confirmed the concerns I had been raising and validated my sense that the representation I received was not aligned with basic standards of client care. Based on the totality of this experience, I cannot recommend this firm. Clients deserve reliable communication, billing practices that reflect the scope and value of the matter, and representation that prioritizes the client’s goals rather than the firm’s bottom line.
