I hired mr sagot for a firearms case and he also took on my husband which is a conflict of interest. He took $1500.00 for the preliminary and after 6 months of sitting on state road I still had no bail reduction and have not seen a judge. Mr sagot has told my family he would work diligently and promi...sed my mother and children that at the next court appearance we would be home. He knew there was a conflict of interest with my ada on my case and failed to get her recused. He post poned several times and failex to appear once. When I called to his office anne and jenn his two secretaries were very inconsiderate nor compassionate for my issue. I called several times asking to be refunded the full amount due to mr sagot making no efforts nor attempts to reach out to my family and I. He has never presented me with any proper documents anytime I seen him in official visits which I seen him 3 times over the course of my case which was 6 months. I am also aware that he has done this to several other men and women. After countless times of calling and be told that I will recieve a call back I never did. I am beyond disappointed and wish to see mr sagot never do this to another person(s). I am currently out on bail and told him that I was being questioned about my criminal matters and needed representation with me he failed to do so. This man is a complete waste of time and money. I advise others to put in complaints to the disciplinary board if you have been through this with mr sagot. I just dont understand how someone as professional as himself would victimize people who are fighting and paying for his services. It disgusts and repulsed me. Good luck to anyone out there looking for a lawyer but I advise you not I repeat do not hire this man.

Please do not hire him I'd hate to see him do to anyone what he did to me. I pled guilty going against my better judgement be because according to him o would have time served and could go home. Come to find out two weeks later that he made a mistake and forgot about another issue. When I asked him a...bout it he said sorry he forgot. Long story short I lost two years of my life due to his memory lapse. Paid him thousands than he disappeared and twice didn't come to court

I hired Mr. Sagot for my husband who was in jail being held without bail due to a VOP and a new case of Felony 3 Retail Theft (razors at a CVS). My husband spent nearly 6 months in jail because Mr. Sagot kept failing to appear in court. Yes, he was paid in full already. The final appearance in cou...rt that he showed up for was ridiculous. Sagot kept trying to force my husband to take the deal the ADA was offering OR ELSE. . . Well this is not my husbands first run with the judicial system, so HE basically negotiated his release plan. Sagot is lazy, incompetent and only interested in taking the max amount of money he can squeeze from you. DO NOT HIRE.

I usually don't write reviews, but after dealing with this lawyer I feel obligated to do so. Allan is by far the worst lawyer ever! In addition to not having time to speak to or answer questions, he's money hungry and very unprepared for court. At my husband's preliminary hearing, he arrived late, ...didn't have time to communicate with my husband and tried to only get 1 charge reduced when he informed both me and my husband that he would EASILY drop more than half. Surprisingly the DA offered to have more charges dropped, since he was not advocating for them to be dropped. When speaking to him in his office he sounds competent and knowledgeable, but in the court room, he sounds like an idiot with no clue on how to argue anything. I was so disappointed in his representation and wished that I could have had the opportunity to go with someone else! He charged more than most lawyers for the prelim and trial and was unwilling to take a plea deal. He tries to seem charismatic with that stupid wink that he has, but he is just uncaring and does not care about the interest of his clients. If you are looking for someone who is going to work for you and your money, please look elsewhere. This lawyer is HORRIBLE.
