Thomas M Walsh

Mr. Walsh specializes in representing health care professionals and medical institutions. For over 25 years he has represented several major university teaching hospitals and health professionals in a wide range of specialties such as cardiology, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, family medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, psychiatry and nursing. He has tried over one hundred major jury trials to verdict in the state and U.S. District courts ofNew JerseyandPennsylvania. Mr. Walsh provides counseling in such specialties as risk management, quality assurance and pre-suit adverse occurrence management. He also represents licensed health professionals inNew Jerseylicensing board matters.

Mr. Walsh served as a Superior Court law clerk for the Honorable George Farrell inSalem County,New Jersey. After joining Parker McCay in 1984, he has focused on civil jury trial matters. He became a shareholder of the firm in 1990 and has been a member of the firm’s governing board since 1996. Mr. Walsh also serves as co-chair of the Litigation Department and is on the firm’s Hiring Committee.
