About Ryan
Biography
Ryan Kooi has been an associate with the firm since 2005. He concentrates his practice in complex/environmental/toxic tort defense, as well as, construction defect litigation, products liability, Land Use and Zoning, and Local Government Law. During law school, Mr. Kooi served as a New Developments Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law & Religion, and a teaching assistant for first-year property law classes. He received a Pro Bono Award for Significant Service in 2004. During the 2004-2005 court term, Mr. Kooi served as the law clerk to the Honorable Louise DiRenzo Donaldson of the Superior Court of New Jersey working in both the Civil and Criminal Divisions in Camden, New Jersey. In addition to his duties as a clerk, Mr. Kooi mediated numerous matters in the Special Civil, Small Claims, and Landlord/Tenant Parts. Outside of the firm, Mr. Kooi Chairs the Combined Planning/Zoning Board of the Borough of Oaklyn, is an active member of the Oaklyn Civic Association having served as its past President and Secretary, and is a former trustee of the Oaklyn Memorial Library.
