About Brian

Biography

New Jersey attorney, former Deputy Attorney General, registered nurse, and former Medicare fraud investigator. I help individuals and businesses navigate healthcare investigations, civil litigation, contracts, real estate, and regulatory disputes. Contact me to discuss your options.

A well-written contract should prevent disputes, not create them. I help New Jersey businesses and individuals draft, review, negotiate, and enforce agreements, resolve breaches, and protect their interests when business relationships break down.

Starting, buying, or operating a business? I advise New Jersey owners on formation, governance, contracts, partner disputes, regulatory issues, and outside general counsel needs. My goal is practical legal advice that supports the business—not just the paperwork.

Before defending healthcare providers, I investigated Medicare fraud and worked as a registered nurse. I represent practices, pharmacies, labs, DME suppliers, and other providers in audits, payment suspensions, licensing matters, investigations, and compliance disputes.

Insurance disputes can threaten your practice or business. I represent providers and businesses in commercial payer disputes, claim denials, recoupments, SIU investigations, and PBM conflicts. I bring healthcare, investigative, and legal experience to each matter.

Litigation demands a strategy, not just paperwork. Drawing on my experience as a Deputy Attorney General and investigator, I represent clients in business, contract, property, and other civil disputes, with clear advice on risk, cost, and next steps.

I used to investigate Medicare and Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse. Today I defend providers facing UPIC and MAC audits, extrapolated overpayments, payment suspensions, enrollment actions, and appeals. I understand the process from both sides.

From lease drafting and landlord-tenant disputes to purchase contracts, title problems, and delayed closings, I help New Jersey property owners, landlords, buyers, and businesses protect their interests and move toward practical resolutions.

I previously served in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. Today I assist individuals, professionals, and businesses with matters involving government agencies, regulatory enforcement, administrative proceedings, and state or local disputes.

Former New Jersey Deputy Attorney General in public integrity and corruption matters. I now represent individuals and businesses facing government investigations, fraud allegations, and white-collar charges. Early, strategic counsel matters.

From lease drafting and landlord-tenant disputes to purchase contracts, title problems, and delayed closings, I help New Jersey property owners, landlords, buyers, and businesses protect their interests and move toward practical resolutions.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
