David Gelman

I found Mr Gelman at night after my grandson was arrested he was 20 yrs old and not street smart he has a history of being abused and doesn’t advocate for himself I explained all this to Mr Gelman he charged 10,000 flat fee that made my husband concerned .I assumed he would try to help he was not at... all proactive he never sent him for any psychological evaluation or therapy knowing he had a history all he did was talk a 20 and now 21 yr old without us there into a plea that is going to ruin his life it’s very sad . At court there were letters and Mr Gelman did not give them all to the judge most important one from his Councler he held back the judge said someone mention he had been abused but I have no proof Mr Gelman never said anything about him in Councling or about the letter nothing ! So the judge gave him what he agreed to in the Plea deal . Why wouldn’t you want to help someone he had people in court with us his high school shop teacher and pastor and a boss he has a Trade now he will not be able to he is really still a kid he didn’t hang around friends never was in any trouble but he needed someone to really do something to help him. My heart aches I was upset I asked him when he walked out the courtroom why he didn’t say anything why you didn’t try to help him he kept walking . Also my grandson wanted a public defender while in county waiting for transfer he was told Gelman was listed as his attorney he said he is not anymore . They said they need him to let them know so I was ask to call I talk to Mr Gelman I told him what they said he said I can call the jail I said I would appreciate that he said well I don’t like what you wrote I wrote a review on Google I didnt say anything then he said I want you to take that Down I said we can talk about that later he said No I suggest you do that first that ended the call . So what do you all think about that ? I only told the truth on google and now on here . I would not recommend him to anyone a public defender would have been better for us 10,000 flat fee
