The Philadelphia School District allowed my children to fall through the cracks due to not giving my children the approiate education that they needed. I kept asking the Philadelphia School District to give my children an evaluation and they chose not to for a whole year. Philadelphia School District... chose to whole my child back a grade not knowing my children had a learning disability. I called Pennsylvania board of education to file a complaint , Pennsylvania took there time as well as Philadelphia school district to investigate my complaint. I searched and searched for an attorney out of them four attorney's I contacted Ms. Barbara Ransom that was willing to take on my children's case and after looking over my children's IEP an evidence Ms. Ransom seen that the School District was at fault, not only did The Philadelphia School District felled to educate 1 of my children that had a IEP, School District felled 2. Ms Barbara Ransom stood by my children side for 3 years, I never had to call Ms. Ransom to make sure that she was still coming to meetings due process hearings, Ms. Ransom came to ever meeting on time an never gave up on my children until they received the approciate education, my children an myself will never find an attorney like Ms. Barbara Ransom that cares about the well being of the children an there education an not just be in it for the money, it's suppose to be about the children an that's what Ms. Barbara Ransom make it about that woman is one of kind.
