Michael Robert Gilman

Mr. Gilman concentrates on licensing, trademarks, patents, and litigating IP disputes in the federal courts and before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board of the U.S. PTO.   He has in-depth patent expertise in consumer products, pharmaceutical products and technologies, including New Chemical Entities, pharmaceutical solids, formulations, generics, specialty products, mechanical devices, telecommunications, optics, telephony, voice over IP, and e-commerce. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation across all technology areas in any federal trial or appellate court in the country. In the trademark and copyright areas, his practice includes assisting clients in positioning and branding their goods and services, enforcing and licensing their rights in the marketplace, counseling clients to avoid infringing the rights of others, and aggressively litigating his clients' rights in these areas.
