Exceptional Family Law Attorney & Domestic Violence Advocate for High-Conflict Cases

There are some people who come into your life at exactly the moment you need them most, and Dana Van Leuven was that person for me. Many years ago, I found myself facing a family law case that I never imagined I would have to navigate. I was a young, single mother with twin boys who were babies at... the time. I had never been in court, had no idea what to expect, and was struggling financially. I felt overwhelmed, scared, and honestly had no idea where to turn. Then I found Dana. From the very beginning, Dana treated me with compassion, patience, and genuine understanding. She didn't just see me as another case. She saw me, my children, and the emotional weight I was carrying. She was incredibly nurturing toward my boys and made me feel that we were not alone in this process. My case involved an enormous amount of emotional and mental stress, including allegations and accusations that were completely untrue. The situation was incredibly difficult and, at times, made me feel as though I had to constantly defend not only myself, but my character as a mother. Dana knew exactly how to navigate that environment. She understood the dynamics involved in domestic and emotional abuse and knew how to advocate for me when I didn't yet know how to advocate for myself. Every time we stepped into that courtroom, she was prepared, knowledgeable, confident, and relentless in defending my rights and, most importantly, protecting the best interests of my children. And she won. Case after case. But what I remember most isn't simply the victories. It's how she made me feel throughout the process. She gave me strength when I didn't have much left. She helped me understand the legal system when everything felt foreign and intimidating. She stood beside me when I felt like I was standing alone. Today, I look back and realize that Dana was instrumental in helping me become the strong woman and mother I am today. My children were babies when she first met us. They are grown so much since then, but I have never forgotten the woman who stood beside their mother during one of the most difficult chapters of our lives. Dana, I will forever be grateful for you. Thank you for believing in me, fighting for me, protecting my children, and treating us with so much compassion and dignity. If you are a mother walking into a family law situation feeling scared, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to turn, I hope you find an attorney who will fight for you the way Dana fought for me. I didn't just hire an attorney. I found an advocate, a protector, and someone who helped me find my voice. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Dana. ❤️ Five stars will never fully express my gratitude.
