Christopher George Porreca

Attorney Christopher G. Porreca earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993 in Geology from Franklin & Marshall College, and his Juris Doctorate degree in 1998 from Widener University School of Law. While he went to law school, Mr. Porreca worked at Ricker, Danzig, Scherer and Hyland & Perretti. He also was accepted into the school’s Law Review, the Widener Journal of Public Law, where he had the opportunity to write for the publication twice every year. During his third year, Mr. Porreca was selected to be the journal’s editorial board. The same year Attorney Porreca graduated from law school, he was admitted to the New York State Bar, the New Jersey State Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar. In addition, he is admitted to the United States District Court District of New Jersey. Attorney Porreca is a member of the Morris County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the American Trial Lawyers Association – New Jersey.

Before finding his own firm, Attorney Porreca worked for a personal injury defense firm, where he represented policy holders of large insurance companies. After this, he began representing individuals instead of institutions, and practiced municipal court and criminal defense. In 2003, Mr. Porreca established The Law Offices of Christopher G. Porreca, P.C., where 100% of his practice is devoted to litigation. At the firm, Attorney Porreca limits the amount of cases he takes on in order to provide every client with the amount of individualized attention they deserve. He understands that individuals facing criminal charges are in a stressed state, and he is dedicated to defending the rights and protecting the futures of his clients. Mr. Porreca takes on a variety of cases, and is prepared to represent individuals facing charges involving arson, domestic violence, DWI offense, probation violation, theft, white collar crimes, and more.
