Eva Marie Uhrik

I am an associate with Edens Law Group. I completed my undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and earned my J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law. I then completed a Family Law clerkship in Essex County, New Jersey, for the Honorable Peter J. Cass.

Throughout my legal career, I focused my practice on Family Law. I chose family law because I wanted to help families, especially families dealing with important issues such as divorce, custody, parenting time, and domestic violence. I have spent the last several years of my practice gaining invaluable litigation experience as a public defender and a prosecutor, working with families accused of abuse and neglect involving DCP&P. If you are involved in a domestic violence incident and/or with a DCP&P matter, I can provide specialized expertise and experience to help you protect yourself and your family.

I understand that, in any Family Law matter, compassionate counsel is just as important as aggressive advocacy. My philosophy is client focused and my aim is to ensure the client a successful outcome.

I am also involved in several nonprofit organizations that help serve our local community. I serve on the Leadership Council of Platinum Minds, and I volunteer my time with the Women’s Crisis Center and the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project.
