Robert C. Brady

Bob Brady has lived in Sussex County for more than twenty-five years, and has now brought his legal expertise to the region he calls home.

Prior to launching his own practice in the Fall of 2023, Bob spent more than twenty years at a large mid-Atlantic law firm, where he specialized in business and commercial law. Bob is an experienced trial lawyer and appellate practitioner. He regularly litigates matters before the state and federal courts of New Jersey, New York, and the surrounding region. He resolved construction disputes through litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Additionally, Bob has extensive experience in litigation involving covenants not to compete and confidentiality provisions. He often litigates matters involving partnership and shareholder disputes, including oppression and dissenter’s rights cases. Bob is also well versed in franchise law and trademark litigation.

Bob believes in the power of mediation, arbitration and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") to help his clients obtain out of court resolutions to their legal issues. Bob is a trained neutral and is available to help other lawyers and parties resolve their disputes outside of court.

Bob served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law. for fifteen years. He has spoken at continuing legal education seminars on issues related to franchise law, construction law, and civil procedure.

 Bob is currently serving the legal community in Sussex County as the Treasurer of the Sussex County Bar Association.

Bob was named to the New Jersey Law Journal's "New Leaders of the Bar" list in 2013. The Law Journal selects for this recognition attorneys in their second decade of practice whose achievements in the workplace and public service involvement distinguish them from their peers.

Thomson Reuters has included Bob on New Jersey’s “Super Lawyers” list for Business Litigation from 2014-present. Prior to that, Bob received recognition from Thomson Reuters on its “Rising Stars” list for Business Litigation from 2009-2013. Bob was included on the "Top 100 Attorneys in New Jersey" list in 2022.

Bob is AV Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. This is the organization's highest peer rating standard. This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.

Bob was inducted into the Patriots' Path Council's Eagle Scout Hall of Fame in 2020. The Patriots’ Path Council Eagle Scout Hall of Fame Award was established to recognize Eagle Scouts who, after 25 years or longer of having received the Eagle Scout Award, have reached a high level of success in their chosen field and demonstrated a strong record of volunteer leadership service to the Patriots’ Path Council and their community.
