Biography
Attorney Reis was born in Angola. She immigrated to the USA in 1987. Early in her work career she worked as a Clerk for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Probate Part for 5 1/2 years, where she gained extensive experience in Court procedures. Thereafter, she was a paralegal for approximately 17 years for a local law firm. During that time she completed her undergrad studies and law school, while working full-time and studying in night classes. She received her BS in Psychology from Rutgers University and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark. As an immigrant, she always had a passion to help immigrants through the complicated immigration system. She believes that each client should be treated with dignity and respect. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Terrible, would not recommend to anyone!

Replied last January 16, 2025We appreciate your feedback and are committed to providing excellent service. Your family member's immigration case was previously approved without any issues, which reflects the quality of our work. On New Year's Eve around 7 p.m., you contacted me regarding a billing error. Upon my return after the holidays, I promptly reviewed the matter and apologized for the $100 invoice, which was created when your family member requested a service from us but which should have been voided by my staff, when your family member stopped responding. As human error can occur, we strive to address such matters with transparency and accountability. Following my apology, you still expressed interest in retaining my services, indicating satisfaction with our work. However, AFTER I declined to accept your new case and explained my decision to focus on other areas of law, you chose to do this retaliatory review.
