Peter Alexander Allegra

Founding Member of The Firm:  Mr. Allegra was born in Brooklyn, NY and is the oldest of eight children.  A Monmouth County, NJ resident since age 4, Mr. Allegra attended Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ.  While at CBA he excelled in Forensics, winning two NJ State titles and representing New Jersey in two national tournaments.

He graduated CBA in 1971 and entered Boston College, earning a degree in Classical Studies in 1975.

He returned to CBA to teach Latin and then entered Seton Hall University Law School in Newark, NJ in the fall of 1976.  He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1979.

From 1979 to 1980, he served as Law Clerk to The Honorable John P. Arnone and The Honorable Louis R. Aikins; Superior Court Judges sitting in Monmouth County.  During this time he was admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and Florida.

Upon the successful completion of his clerkship, Mr. Allegra opened his offices for the private practice of law.  The Firm presently has offices at Concord Center, Building 1, Suite 107, 1301 State Route 36, Hazlet, NJ 07730.

Mr. Allegra is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Florida and Texas.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well as several Federal Courts.  He is a member of the Monmouth Bar Association, Hudson County Bar Association, Florida Bar, and The State Bar of Texas.

Mr. Allegra is a Member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This is the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Mr. Allegra devotes his professional expertise to the handling of civil litigation (with special emphasis on medical and professional malpractice and other complex cases), criminal defense, immigration and other matters.  He is fluent in Italian and French.
