I found Mr. Laughlin to be an extremely competent attorney and i recommend him very highly! Unfortunately for me, I have hired many attorneys in my primary businesses (employees law suits, personal injury law suits, workers compensation, bill collection, contract law, etc.) and I have had few if ...any attorneys I would strongly recommend. Sadly I had need to hire Mr. laughlin for my personal divorce and after having gone through this legal process for the first and hopefully only time, I couldn't imagine going through this process with anyone other than Mr Laughlin. I believe I reached a fair and timely settlement with my ex-wife largely because of Mr Laughlin's knowledge and skill as a family law attorney. He has a very direct and no nonsense style which I appreciated tremendously. He removed as much drama as possible from the other side which I believe allowed me to reach a suitable settlement much faster and requiring less legal fees than another attorney might have required. Craig took over my post divorce case after his associate left the practice. He helped me through obtaining 5 QDRO's and Support obligation matters. He was professional, knowledgable, strong and never once led me in a direction that would benefit him financially. Mr. Laughlin represented me in my divorce. When I decided that I was going to file for divorce, it was a very traumatic time for me. I didn't know where to start. He walked me through the process, step by step. Always made me feel comfortable. He gave me knowledgeable advice but supported my decisions. He kept me updated and moved things along as quickly as he could for my benefit. He responded to my calls & emails personally and promptly. I used Craig for my divorce, and I'm truly lucky to have I found him. My divorce was very complex and lasted roughly 3.5 years. It included experts, mediators, several judges, and a long trial that seemed to drag on forever. Throughout the entire process Craig was always honest, hardworking, and... fair. He prepared my case painstakingly, giving me the best possible chance for a positive outcome. During the trial, which was very stressful to say the least, I never wondered if I had the better attorney. Thankfully, when the trial finally concluded, the most valued issues that we fought years for were decided in my favor. Lastly, divorce in general is horrendous.
