I received the first speeding ticket of my life after 25 years of driving. Almost immediately, I was inundated with mailings from what seemed like every lawyer in Middlesex County. He let me know my options and I asked him to try to reduce the ticket down to a small fine and two points instead of zero points and a large fine. He agreed and actually showed up before I did for court in Piscataway. We were one of the first cases to be heard (one of the benefits of hiring an attorney is you don’t have to wait to see the prosecutor) and Mr. Helman spoke to the prosecutor in his office and then let me know that we would be getting exactly what I asked for. Soon, we were called to see the judge whereby she read the plea to us. I agreed to what she was said and we were done. Mr. Helman was punctual, available and a pleasure to deal with. This was the first and only time I’ve had to deal with something like this and he made the experience as painless as possible.
