Michelle L Krone

Michelle Krone concentrates her practice in representing and advocating on behalf of individuals with special needs and their families. Ms. Krone has experience representing clients in special education, early intervention, Section 504, school disciplinary and higher education matters. She also provides assistance with special needs planning, including preparation of special needs trusts and guardianship applications.

Ms. Krone began her career in special education as a special education elementary teacher in the New Jersey public school system. Ms. Krone graduated from Rutgers University, earning a B.A. degree in Sociology and a minor in Education. She also graduated from Rutgers Graduate School of Education with an Ed.M. in Special Education and Elementary Education. Ms. Krone holds K-12 Teacher of Students with Disabilities and K-5 Elementary Education, Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing.

As a teacher, Ms. Krone devoted her time to advocating for her students’ needs. To further her ability to advocate on behalf of children’s needs, she attended law school to pursue a career as a special education attorney. Ms. Krone earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School where she worked in the Education and Health Law Clinic providing free legal representation to indigent clients in special education and early education. For over two years, prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Krone served as a parent advocate for the firm.
