Biography
Alex Capozzi is a devoted advocate for ordinary families, workers, and consumers that have been harmed or injured due to the negligence of others. He has extensive experience litigating catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases in both New York and New Jersey. Alex has personally obtained numerous multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured victims and he is believed to be one of the youngest attorneys in history to obtain a multi-million dollar jury verdict at trial.
Given his knowledge, skill, and experience in civil trial practice, Alex has been designated as a certified civil trial attorney, a distinction achieved by less than 2% of attorneys in the United States. He has argued cases of great public importance before the New Jersey Supreme Court and he has been recognized in numerous legal publications including: the “Super Lawyers: Rising Stars” list by Super Lawyers from 2018 to 2026, the “Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch: Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation” list by Best Lawyers, the “New Leaders of the Bar” list by the New Jersey Law Journal, and the “Top 40 Under 40” list by National Trial Lawyers.
Known for his confident, authentic, and trustworthy courtroom presence, Alex has repeatedly demonstrated a rare and unique ability to secure favorable jury verdicts when insurance companies refuse to make fair settlement offers. In 2024, he obtained one of the top 100 largest premises liability verdicts in the United States.
Outside of the courtroom, Alex enjoys sports, history, and traveling with his wife, Katherine, and their newborn son, Alexander. He is a lifelong resident of New Jersey and he is deeply dedicated to his community, his clients, and his family.
