Liliana Basmadjian

Liliana Basmadjian was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, where she was admitted to practice law in 1996, graduating from the University of the Republic with her Doctorate in Law and Social Sciences Degree (J.D).

In 2001 she completed her Master of Laws (L.L.M) at Pace University School of Law, and was subsequently admitted to the New York State Bar Association. She is currently a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

During her practice, Attorney Basmadjian has assisted individuals from all over the world in various Immigration matters, representing clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as well as in the U.S. Embassies and Consulates internationally. She also serves as Counsel for individuals facing detention and removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

She has been in the Immigration field since 2009, providing successful assistance in a wide variety of Immigration matters. As an immigrant herself, Liliana Basmadjian has firsthand knowledge of the struggles the Immigration process may bring upon people. She speaks English, Spanish and Armenian.
