Eric David Becker

After contacting David Becker for representation in early February 2015 to handle a simple real estate transaction, I was informed he would gladly accept the job. I immediately sent him the pertinent paperwork. After leaving several unacknowledged voicemails to follow up, David called on April 21, 2...015 to say his paralegal was working on it. I left several unacknowledged voicemails in May 2015, with an accepted phone call on May 30th 2015 that "the transaction would happen this week". More voicemails were left by me throughout June 2015, and finally on June 30,2015 I left a voicemail for David Becker to confirm via email that he is sending back all pertinent paperwork I had sent him in March 2015. THE NEXT DAY, July 1st, 2015 I received via certified mail my documents and a letter stating: "Due to transitions in my practice, personnel and time constraints I am not able to represent you and your family members in this matter." The (lack of) professionalism and honesty over the 5 MONTHS was extremely concerning to me. David Becker cost me a lot of time and money with not being straightforward at any time throughout this process. Ignoring phone calls, stating untrue facts in phone calls and then sending a letter as if it was his decision not to work with me says everything. I will be reporting this unprofessionalism so that no one else has to waste their time and money.
