I live rather far away from the town in which I was pulled over and due to show up in court some time later. Thankfully, Mr. La Salle made it possible for me to waive my right to appear in court and represent me without my presence, which was awesome. I had a traffic incident where my mistake could have resulted in extreme penalties if not handled carefully. I called or emailed aprox 15 -20 lawyers regarding this situation. With out asking any details, almost all responded “yes I can take care of this for you, come to my office” . Then I spoke... to Mr. LaSalle. He first asked me all the details, then was very honest regarding my chances. He reiterated the seriousness and gave me detailed knowledge of what my experience would be with this prosecutor and judge. Instead of trying to get me in his office to sign an agreement and spend money, he presented an alternative option. If this alternative plan of action did not pan out, he said then come into my office and we will go from there. Well, this alternative plan worked out perfectly. I was impressed with his honesty, he did not try to over promise, did not try to scam me for money, had experience with my type of case, and detailed knowledge of the municipal court I was to work with.
