A second generation real estate attorney with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Joel has developed an extensive background in the field.
Prior to forming the Law Office of Joel Furst, Esq., Joel was President of First Continental Mortgage and Investment Corp., Vice Chairman of American Business Financial Services, and President of New Jersey Mortgage and Investment Corp. He oversaw NJMIC’s expansion from being solely licensed in NJ to over 30 states and developed an extensive branch network around the country.
Joel is a former president of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New Jersey. He was elected President of the association in 2004. Joel holds a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University and a J.D. from Seton Hall Law School and was admitted to the bar of New Jersey.
