Rich began studying law in the evenings at New York Law School in 1998, while continuing to work full time as the firm's claims adjustor. Rich graduated in 2002 from New York Law School, and then, after passing the Bar in New Jersey, became a Blume Goldfaden Associate.
Now, as an attorney, Rich applies his extensive knowledge and contacts within the insurance industry to handle cases surrounding automobile accidents, premises liability and other types of personal injury claims. In 2005 alone, Rich obtained in excess of 1.5 million dollars in settlements for Blume Goldfaden clients.
Rich recently handled a case for a man who had previously lost both legs below the knees due to diabetes. He was then involved in a motor vehicle accident where he sustained fractures to both of his thighs, causing him to be wheelchair bound until the fractures healed. Rich was able to settle the case for the full $200,000 available policy limit within a remarkably short 30 days.
Rich is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of both the Essex and Morris County Bar Associations.
