On 05/08/26, We hired Mr Feinbloom to represent me in connection with the purchase of my condominium.
On 05/18/26, We emailed Mr Feinbloom to check on the status of the condo closing process, and to provide me with a brief update regarding the next steps. His reply was that he is waiting for a phone... call from the seller's attorney to review everything with him.
On 05/20/26, we received the contract from the sellers management company requesting us to sign it. We contacted Mr Feinbloom for guidance and whether he wants a copy to review; he instructed us to sign it.
On 05/22/26, I emailed Mr Feinbloom to confirm whether he had received a copy of the signed contract or not. I've got an automatic response stating he was out of the office and would return on the 26th.
On 05/27/26, I emailed him again to see if he received a copy of the contract or not, and if I can begin making arrangements with my current landlord, since I was paying cash, and the anticipated closing date was June 24, 2026.
On 06/15/26, Mr Feinbloom notified me that he received the signed contract, and he was going to move forward with ordering title search.
On 06/22/26, Because I had not received an update, I emailed him asking what was going on with the closing process. He replied that he would advise. Never happened.
Privacy violation:
On 06/24/26 He emailed me a wrong signed contract. I emailed him back to let him know that he sent me someone else's contract containing all of that person's personal information. What a negligent, and careless professional sending private details of their client to others. He resented mine, but not the reviewed one with the attorney’s riders. I emailed him back, asking him to send the attorney’s riders. Unfortunatly there was none. I don't know if I hired a lawyer or a courier.
Follow-up/Subsequent Communication:
At this point, I became concerned about the continued delay and the lack of a definite closing date. I did not want to reach the point of having to ask him to stop the process, particularly because I understood that the contract had already been signed and was legally binding.
Overall Concern:
Throughout the process, I felt that communication was unclear, and that I was not receiving sufficient updates regarding the status of my purchase, and next steps to move forward with the closing. I repeatedly contacted him for guidance and updates, but often did not receive clear information regarding what was happening or what I needed to do next.only short answers like “ will do” but never happened.
Admission of Professional Failure:
On 07/07/26, I emailed him thanking him for his admission of professional failure, and for confirming that he allowed the contract to become fully binding as is without executing any riders or even securing my consent to waive negotiations.
Telephone call from Mr Feinbloom:
He called me to tell me that the seller's attorney told him he would not entertain any changes. When I asked him why he did not let me know or get my consent, he had no answers. He even confessed that he did not read the contract or the recorded master deed.
After the phone call , I ordered a home inspection, which was scheduled for 07/09. There were a few things that needed to be fixed. The sales manager told us they will be fixed in a day or two.
The inspection report came on 07/14, I forwarded it to Mr Feinbloom, and waited another five days to email him requesting an update on the repairs. He emailed me back” All repairs are complete”. Our request for a final walkthrough was denied. Nothing we can do.
On 07/21/26, Mr Feinbloon, wrote to me that the seller's attorney will be out, and to put on for later in the first week of August, we couldn’t since we already notified our landlord that we are moving out at the end of July. We had no choice, but to close on Friday July 24.
The closing Day:
So everything was set for 07/24/26 at 10:00 am. Mr Feinbloom never said anything about the closing location, we h
